What does "WAN Disconnected" (and later "WAN Connected") mean?

"WAN Disconnected" means the site's internet link (Ethernet or cellular modem) dropped. A matching "WAN Connected" for the same site shortly afterwards means the link recovered on its own. A disconnect followed quickly by a connect is a transient blip. A disconnect with no recovery, or a rapid repeating cycle, is worth a ticket.
